Ashish Chaudhary lost his sister,Monica Chhabaria and brother-in-law Ajit, last year on 26th November due to the terrorist attack on Mumbai. However Ashish doesn’t blame Muslims for his loss.
Ashish says, “My dearest friends are Muslims and they have a totally different meaning of jihad. I do not think it’s the religion. Islam is beautiful in my eyes. It’s the select few who are in an entirely different zone.”
“All of Pakistan is not as it’s being perceived. It’s just that the cockroaches in that home have to be removed. All homes have some pests or the other. Crimes are committed in India too, my friends.internal religious problems in India” too should be resolved soon. “Religion is not the be all and end all. I say all the internal religious problems in our enchanting, multi-faceted India too should be thrown in the back seat. We should unite. It’s the need of the day.”
Ashish further writes on his blog, “Finding the problem and curing it is not the end. We’ve got to cure it from the root. It is not only people like Kasab (only surviving terrorist from 26/11 attacks). He is a victim himself. A victim of wrong preaching, false teaching.
“Little kids are being brainwashed from really young ages, to commit felony in the name of religion. It’s sad. But it’s true.”

What strikes the most in Tum Mile is the way in which a love story is told against the backdrop of a natural calamity. What fails to cut an edge, however, is how the calamity itself, the 26/7 deluge of Mumbai in 2005, has been depicted. The fateful day when the maximum city sank under waist-deep water, when thousands of aam Mumbaikars were stranded between hell and high water, has not been recreated to the most bone-chilling effect. But then, ‘Tum Mile’ never claimed to document the calamity. At its core, the film is a love story, and at that level it surely does work.
The film tells the story of two estranged lovers who meet again after a gap of six years amidst a natural disaster. Sanjana (Soha Ali Khan) and Akshay (Emraan Hashmi) bump into each other on a plane to Mumbai. The two share a past which neither seems to have forgotten and as the evening ticks on they find themselves stuck in the middle of a flooded Mumbai.
The narrative keeps slipping into flashbacks to create a parallel track of how the two fell in love and then fell apart.
In Cape Town, Akshay, an art student living hand to mouth, fell for a rich girl, Sanjana. The yawning gap between their social standing didn’t prevent the two from falling in love and living in together. But soon the cracks in the relationship began to appear as Sanjana foot the basic bills of the house, while an out-of-work Akshay twiddled his thumbs and grappled with his male abhimaan of being a liability on Sanjana. A separation inevitably follows. Six years later, as the two stick together to navigate a flooded city, will they rediscover their lost love?

Filmmaker Vipul Shah says he is worried about his friendship with Aishwarya Rai who is working in his film “Action Replay” as people are making “systematic attempts to destroy” their relationship.
“Aishwarya is a very respectable professional. It hurts to see how her sheer hard work is ridiculed to build one spicy story by the media. She has been a soft target. And the sort of rumours rising now can damage my relationship with her. She has been my friend for a long time and I am afraid I will have a fallout with her,” Shah told IANS over phone from Mumbai.
“There are certain people who are making systematic attempts to destroy my relationship with Aishwarya. There are gossip mongers who are spreading baseless rumours that she has refused to dub for ‘Action Replay’ after seeing the rushes. But none of this is true,” he added.Shah gives three reasons to prove that all the rumours are baseless.
“Firstly, when the shooting of the film has not been completed, where’s the question of the rushes and dubbing? Secondly, I haven’t even seen the ‘edit’ of the film. After the shoot completes, it will take at least two and a half months to put it in order for a final cut; so there is no need for dubbing at the moment. This apart, there were also rumours that Aishwarya had repeatedly rejected one of music composer Pritam Chakraborty’s song for the film. But Shah denies it.
“And lastly, ‘Action Replay’ is in sync sound, so dubbing is totally out of the question. Besides, I have been busy for ‘London Dreams’; Aishwarya has been busy shooting ‘Ravana’ and ‘Guzaarish’. She has been travelling a lot so we didn’t even have time to take ‘Action Replay’ forward. What is the logic behind these rumours then?” he added.

Another one from the Bhatt-Hashmi camp, intriguing music, a drab love-story with Mumbai flood back-drop, peppered with smooches and squabbles, Tum Mile turns out to be a below average fare.
This one is similar to director Kunal Deshmukh’s previous flick Jannat – a uni-dimensional story with two lovers succumbing to their weaknesses leading to a fall out in a so-called happy live-in relationship with ample love-making, song-singing and smooching! The story although well placed against the back-drop of the infamous Mumbai floods that led to colossal loss of life and property, is after all, average fare.
The Mumbai Flood is reduced to a mere narrative tool as good or bad as a couple of gundas abducting the heroine and getting beaten by the hero for an alls-well ending. The flood scenes are only 10 odd minutes long with no significance except for making the protagonists realize -’Why did we break up?’
Technically, the film’s cinematography is worth appreciating as Prakash Kutty bends and curves it to accentuate the emotional and visual appeal going along with the twists and turns of the story. The dialogues are well written and refreshingly crisp. Pritam’s music is chart-topping but too many songs are rather annoying.
Performance-wise, Emraan has not much to do, I’m afraid, two more movies like these and he’ll get stagnated and type-cast. Soha looks funny in intimate scenes with an expressionless face, in other scenes she essays her part well. She probably needs a makeover too!
The mall where she was to make an appearance was packed with thousands of fans who screamed her name, whistled, hooted, teased, and pushed around.
The actress remained on stage to avoid mingling with the frenzied fans, but then, to her shock, the stage started to shake.
It seemed the stage would collapse. “It was the most terrifying moment of my life - the stage crashing down.
In front of the fans and I getting swallowed by the crowd,” Katrina is quoted by a Mumbai tabloid.
Thankfully, a sturdy and hugely built security guard came to her rescue. He shielded Katrina from the mob and made way for her to get out of the crowded mall.
He even accompanied the actress to the hotel. Meanwhile, the Kat-struck fans were not cowed down. They hopped on their motor-bikes and chased the actress to the hotel.

"Five of my films are ready for release, as a result I don't want to plunge into other projects. I am taking my time reading scripts and saying no more often to offers."
The reason why Neha is on this trip is because she is in an introspection mode. "I am at a stage of my career when I have to decide to take things to another level.
I want my films to release to decide what kind of roles I want to take on." At the moment, she is trying to be a good family member. "Yes, I am spending a lot of time with my family.
"I was in New Delhi visiting them and then proceeded to Mount Abu for a cousin's wedding. My folks are coming down to Mumbai for and then everyone takes off to Dubai for a holiday."

A lot is being expected from Sanjay Gupta’s psychological thriller ‘Acid Factory’. Though the script is a copy from Hollywood it promises to be a nail-biting crime thriller.
The story of the film revolves around the protagonists trapped in a chemical factory with the best part of the plot being that they don’t remember a thing. Suffering from temporary amnesia, all six have forgotten their identities and how they got there. They get their clues from phone calls made by a mob boss (Irrfan Khan) and wonder who among them is their friend or the foe.
The star cast of the film, which includes Irrfan Khan, Dino Moreo, Dia Mirza, and Aftab Shivdasani, looked confident about the film as they smiled and shone at the movie’s premiere in Mumbai. Check out a few shots from the event.
