We are all aware that Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is the most searched celebrity on google.
The latest research shows that Barbie doll Kats is the most searched celebrity on the mobile phones too and has beaten the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Aishwarya Rai.
The research was conducted by mBit Infotech, a Value Added Service(VAS) provider.
Among the Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities, Katrina is on the number one spot followed by Angelina Jolie, Kareena, Shah Rukh, Salman, Bipasha, Aishwarya, Monica Bellucci and Aamir Khan.
Commenting on the results, Raghavendra Agarwala, CEO of mBit Infotech, said:
“It is amazing to see that Katrina Kaif is ruling the charts with a major pie, presumably implying that Katrina’s popularity is mounting for both national and international audiences.”
Raavan was Aishwarya Rai toughest shooting experience so far. However she says that at the end of the day having her husband Abhishek Bachchan by her was an extremely comforting factor.
“The natural attention that we can give each other on such a film is great. We were there for each other. At the end of the day we had each other and that was definitely wonderful on such a tough and physically demanding film,” admits the actress.
“He (Mani Ratnam) is not demanding but the kind of characters and scripts that he comes up with automatically gets very demanding on the actor. Each day would be a more uphill climb because the terrain was not easy.
Forgetting all the problems and getting down to do what we were supposed to, was very challenging,” adds Ash.

Recently, the actress has admitted that she is just crazy about shoes. Celina admits to having around 1, 500 pairs and for this, she plans to register herself in the Limca Book of Records.
Her fetish for shoes came out when she was shooting in Canada recently for Anees Bazmee’s ‘Thank You’. The actress had pain in her tooth and she went to the dentist for a root canal treatment. Then, she planned to visit the chemist to pick up some painkillers, but instead landed up at the shoe shop across the road. Giving in to her temptations, she ended up buying 11 pairs of shoes and went back to her hotel only to realize that she had forgotten to buy the medicines. No wonder, her close friends now call her Shoelina!
Celina confesses in her own words, “I must confess that I have a real huge fetish for shoes. Even though I have over 1500 pairs yet I crave for more and more. There have been times when I have left home to buy medicines and have ended up buying shoes!!!”

Recently actor Anil Kapoor,flew to Vancouver to be with Sonam when he heard that she wasn’t in the best of spirits. In fact, makes the best of every opportunity to spend time with his daughter.
Last week Anil, who was in Los Angeles, heard that Sonam was not in a good mood while shooting for ‘Thank You’ in Vancouver, he broke the rule of not mixing his personal and professional life and flew down for four days to be with his her.
Apparently in ‘Thank You’, Sonam plays a reclusive girl. So, to get into the character Sonam consciously stayed aloof from other members of the cast.
Director Anees Bazmee confirms the news and says,
“Yes, Anil did visit us in Vancouver and he really livened up the atmosphere. Normally Anil wouldn’t do such a thing. But we go back a long way.”
Anees admits Sonam’s role was isolating.
“She does play this very simple and shy girl who likes to keep to herself in the first half. In the second half, she comes into her own and blossoms into a successful tennis player. Anil’s presence definitely made a difference to Sonam’s mood, and also ours,”
That’s really very sweet of you Anil…
“I will go for biological baby because the clock is ticking for me,” Sushmita, told.
When asked if wedding bells were on her cards, the Hyderabad-born actress says intelligently,
“I said the clock is ticking… I never said anything about marriage,” “Every girl wants her prince charming. I have stopped thinking about it long back but still I want it,” said the actress.
Sushmita adopted daughter Renee in 2000 and another girl Alisah in January this year.
The movie has Mallika play a character named is “Aretha Gupta” who is a local Obama volunteer and a month before the election day, Democrat Aretha unexpectedly falls for her Republican counterpart (Alonso), a handsome, dynamic African-American working for the local McCain office.
The character of Aretha Gupta is inspired by Kamala Harris, the attorney general of San Francisco. Mallika Sherawat write on twitter profile that-
“Kamala is a great inspiration and to play a part inspired by her is an actress’s dream. I will B ’shadowing’ Harris to research my new movie. It’s an amazing role. I’m working hard at. I’m ready.”
The movie is co-produced by Govind Menon along with Hollywood producer and William Keenan’s company Nuclear Mango.

When asked about her absence from the buzz and limelight, Neha laughs and says, “Well, there was a lot happening in the interim. I finished shooting for an entire film during this time period. ‘With Love To Obama’ is a special film and I did a lot of workshops with my director. The film is set in a certain location zone in India and I had to work a lot on my accent. I would soon be beginning to dub for the film.”
“For those 50 odd days, the entire country - let aside Bollywood - was undercover because of cricket”, she adds, “I used that time to wrap up With Love To Obama and also had some interesting script reading sessions. There are two films that I may end up doing. Meanwhile I also shot for two commercials. Also, shooting for AXN action awards is on the anvil. So yeah, actually there was a lot happening for me”.
Talking about the film, the actress informed, “It is a satire and I am quite satisfied with the portions I have seen of the film. I had put all my energy into shooting for the film. It has been shot quite well and there is an earthy rustic charm to it.”
Even going the dare-bare way did not do any wonders for Amrita Rao and she seems to have disappeared from flashlights post ‘Shortkut- The con is on’ and it would be equally painful to talk about Tusshar Kapoor’s sinking career. Now, the two stars are pinning down their hopes on the Rajshri Productions P. Ltd’s new film titled LOVE U… MR. KALAKAAR! where they will be in the lead roles. S. Manasvi, who has also penned the story, screenplay and dialogue for the production will also be directing it. The movie is produced by Kamal Kumar Barjatya, Rajkumar Barjatya and Ajit Kumar Barjatya, with Sooraj R. Barjatya and Rajjat A. Barjatya as Associate Producers. Sandesh Shandilya will be doing the musical scores for the film.
The storyline of the flick revolves around Sahil, a cartoonist and an artist and Ritu who is a management trainee. While Sahil is into all the tender aspects of nature and beauty, Ritu is into the debits, credits, turnovers, profits, and deadlines. How an artist’s simple world crosses path with the dynamic corporate world form the core of the movie. The film will go on floors in early July 2010 and the two stars are hoping that this movie would do magic to their sinking career graph.

What with Rani Mukherjee shifting focus from TV to the silver screen again? Well the reports are rife with the news.That director Deepa Mehta has confirmed the news that indeed she and Rani had definitely met author Salman Rushdie in Toronto recently.
The cute and friendly actress is to be cast in the film version of the book Midnight’s Children written by the Booker Prize winner Salman Rushdie.
The meeting was held to discuss the screenplay adaptation of the movie. According to news doing the rounds the cast has yet to be finalized.
But the final ones who are already there are names like Of course Rani Mukherjee, Shabana Azmi, Seema Biswas and Nandita Das.
It really has been a long absence from the silver screen for the queen of hearts Rani Mukherjee, and it would be a pleasure.
For all her fans waiting to see her again after her role in Dil Bole Haddippa. The shooting for the film begins some time in September this year.

Gauhar threw a fit as she wanted a solo entry. She refused to make an entry with Anjana.
A source at the event reveals, “Anjana and Gauhar were supposed to make an entry together for the opening.
But a few hours before the show, Gauhar spoke to the organisers and the choreographer and demanded that she make a solo entry.
Just a few minutes before the show, Anjana was informed about the change and so she made her entry after Gauhar’s act.”

Genelia D’Souza has denied the rumors about her marriage with Riteish Deshmukh. A leading tabloid had reported that Genelia will be tying the knot with Ritesh in February.
An angry Genelia says, ‘To set the record straight, I am not getting married to anyone. I have always maintained that my personal life is not something I would like to discuss. But this time since it was something that would affect my family, I decided to take a stand.’
