After Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapur, Daler Mehendi, Mika Singh, Mallaika Sherawat and boxing champion Vijendar Singh, it's Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh who will be promoting New York on the game show. However, it should be noted that John Abraham, who is also a part of the film, will not be a part of the show. The Salman-John rift dates back to the Rockstars Concert where the two had a disagreement over the choreographer’s payment after which they are to have been at constant loggerheads.

Back to the show, it seems that the rumors regarding his absence are many and varied. One source claims that while he was invited, he chose to stay at home and nurse his ailing foot. Another source alleged that he was in fact invited but never showed up despite promising to do so. Nevertheless, Katrina Kaif is said to have been in great spirits and more so because John decided not to attend for whichever reason, “Kat seemed to be in a great mood and appeared more relaxed, which wouldn't have been possible if her co-star had been present. Neil was jovial and seemed to enjoying Salman's jokes,” claims an insider.

Additionally, there were more guests on the show in the form of children. It seems that Sohail Khan’s son, Nirvaan, Arbaaz Khan’s son, Arhaan and Sajid Nadiadwala’s son, Subhaan were all spotted on the sets of the game show on the same day. The children are said to have been spending some quality time with their uncle learning to horse ride and play other sports. Salman did not want to leave the children alone and thus, the bachcha party also accompanied their uncle to the shoot. They are said to have had a rocking time as they danced on stage with their uncle to some of their favorite songs.
