“The natural attention that we can give each other on such a film is great. We were there for each other. At the end of the day we had each other and that was definitely wonderful on such a tough and physically demanding film,”
admits the actress.
“He (Mani Ratnam) is not demanding but the kind of characters and scripts that he comes up with automatically gets very demanding on the actor. Each day would be a more uphill climb because the terrain was not easy.
Forgetting all the problems and getting down to do what we were supposed to, was very challenging,” adds Ash.

A perfect father-daughter bonding is clearly visibe in the ever young Anil Kapoor and his lovely daughter Sonam.
Recently actor Anil Kapoor,flew to Vancouver to be with Sonam when he heard that she wasn’t in the best of spirits. In fact, makes the best of every opportunity to spend time with his daughter.
Last week Anil, who was in Los Angeles, heard that Sonam was not in a good mood while shooting for ‘Thank You’ in Vancouver, he broke the rule of not mixing his personal and professional life and flew down for four days to be with his her.
Apparently in ‘Thank You’, Sonam plays a reclusive girl. So, to get into the character Sonam consciously stayed aloof from other members of the cast.
Director Anees Bazmee confirms the news and says,
“Yes, Anil did visit us in Vancouver and he really livened up the atmosphere. Normally Anil wouldn’t do such a thing. But we go back a long way.”
Anees admits Sonam’s role was isolating.
“She does play this very simple and shy girl who likes to keep to herself in the first half. In the second half, she comes into her own and blossoms into a successful tennis player. Anil’s presence definitely made a difference to Sonam’s mood, and also ours,”

Slumdog Millionaire,which was a hit worldwide, did not have our lovely Frieda require to expose her skin. But her latest movie Immortals directed by Tarsem Singh, features this sultry babe in a steamy sex scene.
This is the first time she has done something like this and was very uncomfortable while shooting for it.The lights on the sets were switched off and only key unit members were allowed for the the intimate scene shot.
Speaking about the scene, Tarsem said:
“Poor girl. It’s the first time we have Freida Pinto and guess what, it’s a sex scene. It’s a delicate situation. We’re trying to get all of the lights out, so we can create an intimate situation. Only 80 people watching you and 20 of them with video (cameras).”
Freida plays the character of oracle princess, Phaedra in the movie. Immortals is a Greek story, revolving around a young warrior who vanguards a battle against the immortal gods to save mankind.

The much-hyped and perhaps the most awaited summer release ‘Kites’ opened in theatres yesterday and evoked mixed response from the viewers. The major drawback of the movie was its failure to live up to the promises and hype which had been built up with the much hullaboo about sizzling chemistry and passionate romance between Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori.
The storyline of the film is sheer romance but lacks the smoldering and passionate sexual chemistry between the two stars which was what the fans expected. The story of the film is simple and predictable with no new twists. Jai aka J (Hrithik) is a street-smart Las Vegas guy who romances with a rich girl Gina (Kangna Ranaut) for her wealth. When he meets Gina’s brother Tony’s (Nick Brown) fiancee Natasha (Barbara), he falls in love with her. Natasha too falls for him and the lovers elope and then the chase begins.
Set aside the negative aspects of the movie and you have two great looking sexy people with some interesting moments, gripping action sequences in the second half of the film, international look and appeal and best of all, melodious scores by Rajesh Roshan.
The international version seems to be more impressive than the Hindi version considering the global appeal. To sum it all, a one time watch and an average turnout for an over hyped movie!!!

Once again, Hollywood combines with Bollywood in the forthcoming romantic comedy ‘Love, Barack’ where our sexy bombshell Mallika Sherawat plays the lead. The movie is based on the fortunes of a campaign team caught up in a whirlwind of euphoric romances.
The movie has Mallika play a character named is “Aretha Gupta” who is a local Obama volunteer and a month before the election day, Democrat Aretha unexpectedly falls for her Republican counterpart (Alonso), a handsome, dynamic African-American working for the local McCain office.
The character of Aretha Gupta is inspired by Kamala Harris, the attorney general of San Francisco. Mallika Sherawat write on twitter profile that-
“Kamala is a great inspiration and to play a part inspired by her is an actress’s dream. I will B ’shadowing’ Harris to research my new movie. It’s an amazing role. I’m working hard at. I’m ready.”
The movie is co-produced by Govind Menon along with Hollywood producer and William Keenan’s company Nuclear Mango.

While you were wondering where Neha Dhupia had disappeared after her ‘De Dana Dan’ raked moolah at the box office and after critics were all praises for her in ‘Raat Gayi Baat Gayi’, the actress is not the one to sit down and relax. She was out there completing the shoot for her forthcoming ‘With Love To Obama’ where she plays a gangster called Munni.
When asked about her absence from the buzz and limelight, Neha laughs and says, “Well, there was a lot happening in the interim. I finished shooting for an entire film during this time period. ‘With Love To Obama’ is a special film and I did a lot of workshops with my director. The film is set in a certain location zone in India and I had to work a lot on my accent. I would soon be beginning to dub for the film.”
“For those 50 odd days, the entire country - let aside Bollywood - was undercover because of cricket”, she adds, “I used that time to wrap up With Love To Obama and also had some interesting script reading sessions. There are two films that I may end up doing. Meanwhile I also shot for two commercials. Also, shooting for AXN action awards is on the anvil. So yeah, actually there was a lot happening for me”.
Talking about the film, the actress informed, “It is a satire and I am quite satisfied with the portions I have seen of the film. I had put all my energy into shooting for the film. It has been shot quite well and there is an earthy rustic charm to it.”
