
Raavan was Aishwarya Rai toughest shooting experience so far. However she says that at the end of the day having her husband Abhishek Bachchan by her was an extremely comforting factor.
“The natural attention that we can give each other on such a film is great. We were there for each other. At the end of the day we had each other and that was definitely wonderful on such a tough and physically demanding film,” admits the actress.
“He (Mani Ratnam) is not demanding but the kind of characters and scripts that he comes up with automatically gets very demanding on the actor. Each day would be a more uphill climb because the terrain was not easy.
Forgetting all the problems and getting down to do what we were supposed to, was very challenging,” adds Ash.
